Album Wiki

I recently purchased Houses of the Holy on vinyl. I contemplated buying a newer record, one more relevant to ears tuned to the frequency of recency. Fuck that, I need this album in its original format. I’ll leave the newer artists for the torrents.
Here are a few songs to highlight from the album. I’m obsessed by the epic journey involved in these songs and their realization. “D’Yer Mak’er” is a fun romp. “Over The Hills and Far Away “ makes for a classic road song, with multiple storyline shifts just by way of instrumentations. The layers on “The Rain Song” come with the complexity of weather, feel this one out in your spines tingle, tapped by cloud drops. “The Song Remains the Same” is a hell of a first track, a falling trip into the album’s core feel, an invitation into the Houses of the Holy. Really though, just buy the album below.

Track 1. The Song Remains The Same
Track 2. The Rain Song
Track 3. Over The Hills And Far Away
Track 6. D’Yer Mak’er
