Artist Under Review: Ghostpoet [2010-2011]

Audience: “Wake up, sleepy bones.” - Ghostpoet

Ghostpoet is an intriguing case of British musician, will you allow me to say a rapper on par with James Blake? Consider the noises & accent. Shall we also say he's replacing The Streets [nearly disappeared from the -osphere]? If you don’t dig these slant rhymes and the offbeat lyricism of Ghostpoet, try out the beats. How has this future gotten here so fasssst? Here is a review of his output from 2010 on. I must say that “Cash And Carry Me Home” is the hottest token since Pac Man, yet the Peanut Butter Blues contains about the same number of hits as The Sound of Strangers, an EP from 2010. Let’s hope future output grows longer legs when stepping into 2012 and when the music becomes post-apocalyptic.
